PURPOSE:To stably retain the gyro ball and to minimize errors by forming a circulation passage of the carrier liquid with a partition wall between the ball and the inner wall of the liquid tank as well as by providing cooling means on the liquid tank for forced cooling of the carrier liquid. CONSTITUTION:A partition wall 11 is provided between the gyro ball 3 and the inner wall of the liquid tank 1 and also a cooling means 12 is provided so that heated carrier liquid 2 passes through the interior of the partition wall 11 and rises as shown by the arrow. The liquid thatn reached the top of the liquid tank 1 is cooled off by cooling means and goes down as indicated by the arrow through the outside of the partition wall 11. Thus, the carrier liquid 2 is circuited up an down across the partition wall 11 so that the temperature distribution within the liquid tank is maintained uniform. Even with some vibration of the carrier liquid 2, the temperature distribution of the carrier liquid 2 within the liquid tank 1 does not significantly change, enabling stabilized retaining of the roller ball and minimizing errors. |
