PURPOSE:To obtain a cathode-ray tube having an electron gun, a lens of which is formed to a fully large diameter, by constituting an electrostatic lens unit with plural electrodes, piling the plural electrodes in the direction of an electron gun main axis further fixedly supporting the electrodes through coaxially arranged insulating members. CONSTITUTION:The second insulating member 107 is arranged in the inside of the third grid electrode 106, further the fourth grid electrode 108 is arranged internally of the second insulating member, and a margin can be taken enough for arranging a contact 113. Or the second insulating member 107, arranged between the third grid electrode 106 and the fourth grid electrode 108, may be coaxially arranged as a whole by circumferentially dividing the insulating member into plural members. Further the second insulating members 107a, 107b, 107c, 107d are narrowed in their width and can be arranged as if the electrode were supported in four places, however, these are equal to those as coaxially arranged and can be selected in accordance with a dielectric strength characteristic with the third grid electrode 106 and the fourth grid electrode 108. |
