PURPOSE:To obtain the control of ignition timing in a simple circuit by finding an ignition timing on the basis of the level comparison between a specific ignition signal generated by a magnetogenerator and a reference signal and making the reference signal changeable on occasion by the strength of knocking. CONSTITUTION:A captioned device is provided with a comparator 6 to generate a knock-detection pulse on the basis of the comparison between the output signal of an acceleration sensor 1 inputted via a frequency filter 2 and an analog gate 3 and the output voltage of a noise level detector 5, and controls a switching circuit 11 concerning an ignition circuit 12 in accordance with the output thereof. In this construction, an ignition signal 20 of the magnetogenerator 9 is given wave-form shaping 13, and outputted into a gate timing controller 4, a gate drive circuit 16, and others. Meanwhile, a level-conversion circuit 14 is provided to level-shift the output of an integrator 7 in accordance with the number of revolutions of an engine detected from the ignition signal 20. The above-said wave-form shaping circuit 13 is constructed to determine an ignition timing on the basis of the output of a circuit 14 and the ignition signal 20. |
