PURPOSE:To facilitate adjusting work and heighten the degree of freedom of design, by attaching a throttle valve opening degree adjusting screw to a throttle valve lever and placing the screw almost coaxially to a switch body for turning on and off the contacts of an electric circuit. CONSTITUTION:A throttle valve lever 15 for urging a throttle valve 13 by a spring 16 in such a direction as to move the valve back is secured on a throttle valve shaft 14 integrated with the throttle valve 13 located in an intake passage 12. An adjusting screw 17 is engaged in the bent end 15A of the lever 15. A detector 18 for the idling degree of opening of the throttle valve 13 is placed so that the detector corresponds to the screw 17. The detector 18 has a casing 19 which is made of an electric insulator and secured on a carburetor body 11. A switch body 22 made of an electroconductive material is places so that it corresponds to terminals 21A, 21B on the step 20A of the casing 19. A spring 24 of lower elastic force than the spring 16 urges the switch body 22 in such a direction as to separate it from the terminals 21A, 21B. |
