PURPOSE:To manufacture an arc welding rod which does not show any electrode overheating phenomena and has an shield effect of arc atmosphere through a simple process, by using rice hull powder as an organic matter in the coating material of coated electrodes. CONSTITUTION:For a coated welding rod on which a coating material which contains organic matters and a slag forming agent as essential components is applied, rice hull powder is used as the organic matter in the coating material. Therefore, by effectively using rice hull powder which has not had any usefulness so far, coated arc welding rod which have beads of excellent appearance and does not have any electrode overheating phenomena are manufactured through a simple process. |
