PURPOSE:To prevent freezing of a collector and a solenoid valve by a method wherein the solenoid valve is provided for draining water in a water feeding and discharging equipment and a low pressure electric current which will never operate the solenoid valve is flowed through the coil of the solenoid valve when the solenoid valve is not driven. CONSTITUTION:In the antifreezing valve effecting the drainage of water in the water feeding and discharging equipment such as a feed water tank 1, a circulating pump 3, a water feeding pipe 5, the collector 4 and the like for preventing the freezing thereof, the solenoid valve 12 for draining the water in the water feeding and discharging equipment is provided, while the water feeding and discharging equipment is povided with a control circuit supplying the minute current which will never operate the valve 12 to the coil of the valve 12 when the solenoid valve 12 is not being driven. When the valve 12 is being opened, the minute current is conducted to the coil of the valve 12 through the normally closed contact 22 of a relay R and a resistor r, therefore, the valve will never be driven but will be heated by the current flowing through the coil. Accordingly, even when the valve is opened to drain the water in the collector 4 or the like, freezing of adhered water or the like of the valve 12, which causes the malfunction of the valve, may be prevented by the heating of the coil. |
