摘要 |
PURPOSE:To form a film of graphite fluoride having high adhesiveness, mechanical strength and chemical stability on the surface of Al by heating the Al and a carbonaceous material in a fluorine atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:Al or an Al alloy and a carbonaceous material are heated in a gaseous fluorine atmosphere under conditions differing slightly according to a stationary state or a rotating state. Then, the film of graphite fluoride which binds firmly to the Al base material, has gloss of gray or blackish gray or black, exhibits strong water repellency, has electric insulation characteristics and is resistant to corrosion against aq. solns of acid and alkali is formed. |
