Apparatus for deflecting a continuous film web (2) folded along its longitudinal centre line in a packaging machine for wrapping a plurality of objects (1) fed one after the other, in which both film halves (3, 4) are introduced lying flat one against the other in a vertical plane lying parallel to the feed direction of the objects (1), are guided past rollers (6, 7; 27, 31, 32) mounted parallel to the feed direction and are guided apart along a line extending parallel to the advancing direction and in the manner of a roof and guided via guides (14, 15) extending parallel to the feed direction at a distance from the feed surface of the objects (1) and vertically to the feed plane, a triangle (18), which is inclined with its base in the feed direction of the objects (1), and the corner points of which are defined by the line and both guides (14, 15), is formed from the line to the horizontal plane formed in the area of the longitudinal centre edge of the film web by the guides (14, 15), and the central area of the film web (2) extends horizontally from the base of the triangular surface (18) between the guides (14, 15) in the feed direction and forms the covering layer for the objects (1), and in which the areas of both halves of the film web (2) which extend vertically (1) are turned horizontally beneath the objects, so that their free edges are opposite one another below the objects (1), the film web halves (3, 4) being folded along an edge (24, 25) extending obliquely with respect to the longitudinal direction of the film from the base points of the triangular surface in such a manner that the outsides of both film web halves (3, 4) rest against the objects (1), and comprising means for preventing displacement in the feed direction of the film web halves which are moved apart in the manner of a roof, characterised in that the rollers (6, 7; 27, 28, 31, 32) are provided with means (9; 28; 39, 40; 45, 46) for securing the film web halves (3, 4) by friction and which prevent a displacement of the film web halves (3, 4) parallel to the feed direction of the objects (1) directly above the edge from which the two film web halves (3) are moved apart in the manner of a roof, and that these means engage at least in that area of film web (2), which is arranged above the triangular surface (18).</p> |
