PURPOSE:To form a sound groove by means of direct cutting to a vinyl chloride disk, by cutting the vinyl chloride disk by a heated cutting stylus of a specified shape, and forming the sound groove. CONSTITUTION:A heater 3 is provided on a cutting stylus 2 which has been formed like a triangle pole having almost vertical 2-faces 4, 5 of such almost equal width as forms an included angle of an acute angle, and has provided slopes whose tip is pointed, on the tip part. Such a cutting stylus 2 is rotated so that one fact except said 2-faces 4, 5 is opposed to a rotating direction A of a record disk and also is turned to the outside of the record disk, and also is inclined so that the rear end of the cutting stylus 2 is inclined toward the rotating direction A of the record disk, and a cutting device installed to a shank 1 is used. In this state, a sound groove 13 formed by cutting a vinyl chloride disk by the heated cutting stylus 2. |
