PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption and to obtain stable images for a long period by applying an AC voltage control members, such as a toner conveying member and an opening plate, and thus weakening sticking strength on the toner conveying member and performing recording at the low applied voltage. CONSTITUTION:A recording member 5 is carried, as shown by an arrow, from a roll by a driving roller 15 in close contact with a back electrode 6. A control member consists of a signal electrode 1, an insulating material 2, a base electrode 3, etc., the insulating material 2 has a 50mum thickness, and they are provided with openings 4 with a 140mum diameter to allow toner 11 to pass through them. A toner conveying member 7 is a nonmagnetic sleeve and holds one-component conductive magnetic toner 11 in a container 13 around it by an internal magnet 12. A 50V signal voltage is applied between the electrodes 1 and 3 from a signal power source 10, and a 300V of 2kHz AC voltage is applied between the toner conveying member 7 and base electrode held at an interval of 200mum. |
