PURPOSE:To position images in respective colors easily and speedily by carrying color-separated image patterns on respective donor members synchronously with an exposure scan on a color original, and aligning image tips to one another to transfer the images on an intermediate transfer roller, and further transferring them to transfer paper. CONSTITUTION:Respective donor rollers 15-17 for cyan, magenta, and yellow, a transfer roller 18, a cleaning brush 19, etc., are arranged around an intermediate transfer roller 13. At circumferences of those donor rollers 15-17, multistylus members 15a, 16a, and 17a are provided at intervals l1-l3 from positions shown by codes F as image tip positions on the intermediate transfer roller 13. Those multistylus members 15a-17a are controlled through optical switches. A toner image on the roller 13 is transferred to transfer paper S. |
