SLIDE MECHANISM FOR FILTER CARTRIDGE

PURPOSE:To set a filter cartridge automatically at the position of detection by a method wherein a hole of a guiding plate is positioned on the opposite side to the position of detection around a hole of a movable plate when the filter cartridge is set at a position of reception by the movable plate. CONSTITUTION:When a filter cartridge is brought from a collecting unit onto a slide mechanism 60 by a conveyor unit, it is conveyed to a position just above a hole 68. When a material hand mechanism is opened, the filter cartridge is dropped into the hole 68 of a movable plate 63. Then, the movable plate 63 is moved in the direction A and the cartridge in the hole 68 is also transferred in the direction A on a guiding plate 64. Reaching a limit switch, the movable plate is stopped, and the measurement of radioactivity is performed. On the occasion, the filter cartridge is brought to the center of a measuring unit 21.
