PURPOSE:To obtain a device which can confirm color balance in a view finder, by generating a gate signal from an amplitude of a chroma signal and gating a sinusoidal wave signal of a prescribed frequency to be superimposed on the view finder with this gate signal. CONSTITUTION:A chroma signal 11 is picked up from a video signal processing section 11 of a color camera, the level of the chroma signal is detected at a gate signal generating section 2, and when this level is a prescribed value or below, a gate pulse 12 is generated. A superimposing signal generating section 4 generates a superimposing signal 13 of a sinusoidal wave in, e.g., 1MHz of frequency and a gate circuit 3 is gated with this signal, allowing to gate a superimposing signal on a small chroma signal part only on a screen. This gated superimposing signal 14 is mixed with a monitor signal 15 at a signal mixing section 5 in a suitable rate and given to an electronic view finder 6 and displayed on a cathode ray tube. |
