<p>Distillate fuel is stabilized against degradation during storage by inserting into storage tanks solid materials containing polar sites to enable polar condensation of the fuel constituents active in degradation. Polyether or polyester polyurethane open cell foams are the prime solid stabilizers proposed.</p> |
