PURPOSE:To keep load constant and to stabilize voltage by connecting a heater with a low voltage power supply when copying is suspended. CONSTITUTION:A heater 30 is connected with a transformer 2 for supplying power to optical system drivers 16, 18 paper feeders 20, 22, voltage sources of corona chargers 24, 26, 28. The heater 30 is turned off with an inverter driver 46 when other power consuming loads are running, and it is turned on when copying is suspended. The heater 30 is used for drum heating, toner dehumidifying, and preheating of a fluorescent lamp. Since power load is kept almost constant during operation of a copying machine or its suspension, fluctuation of voltage of the power supply is avoided. |
