PURPOSE:To simply reduce vibration of a compressor by means of a dynamic vibration damper by mounting it onto the wall face of a closed casing so as to make the primary proper frequency substantially equivalent to the revolution frequency of the compressor or the frequency of a power supply. CONSTITUTION:A dynamic vibration damper 4 which consists of a weight 4a and an elastic supporting member 4b is secured to a fixture 4d which is attached to the wall face of a closed casing 1. When the compressor is operated, intense vibration is caused in the revolution frequency thereof due to fluctuation in load torque which is applied to a compression mechanism 3. Since the dynamic vibration damper 4 is mounted to the closed casing 1 so as to make its frequency substantially equivalent to the revolution frequency of the compressor or the frequency of a power supply, the dynamic vibration damper 4 vibrates in reverse phase to the compressor so that the torque by the vibration of the compressor and the torque, reverse to it, which is generated by the dynamic vibration damper 4 are cancelled with each other. Resultantly, vibration of the compressor may be reduced. |
