<p>Hot dip galvanising plant for tubes consists of a bath and dipping and removal devices. The dipping device includes two stations, one above the other, for accepting workpieces, a transport device which can be raised or lowered by an amount which is equal to the height of the two stations, and also on either side of this, shelves for holding the workpieces. Of these the holding device on one side is loaded when the transport device is raised, whilst that on the other side is loaded when the transport device is lowered. The transport device itself is always loaded on the side opposite to that of the shelves which, are charged. This installation, requires a shorter bath, and secondly enables the duration of the dipping process to be more accurately controlled than in concentional plant.</p> |
