LOCK SYSTEM

A lock system for a container, such as a tool box or a storage cabinet which is locked by a padlock. Structure within the container mounts the padlock within the container with only a key insertion end of the padlock body exposed for access thereto. A bracket holds the shackle against movement and the padlock body is supported for movement between locked and unlocked relation with the shackle. A pivoted lock bracket associated with a movable closure for the container is positionable within the shackle when the container is closed for movement into engagement with the shackle by the padlock body as the latter is advanced for locking of the padlock. 1.
