PURPOSE:To enable to easily give selective absorbability to a heat collecting plate employing plastics by a method wherein a metallic layer is formed over a plastic substrate and further a layer mainly composed of metal oxide is formed over said metallic layer. CONSTITUTION:In order to make a solar heat collecting plate out of plastics, at first, the first continuous metal layer A is formed on the surface of the plastic substrate C in order to reflect the sun light a thereon. The second layer B mainly composed of metal oxide is formed on the first layer A in order to absorb the sun light and at the same time to transmit the light having the wave length no less than about 2.5 micrometers in infrared zone, resulting in obtaining selective absorbability. The metal oxide to be employed to the second layer B is preferably no less than one kind selected from the group of Fe, Mn, Cu, Cr, Co and Ni. The layer B is formed so thick as not to be more than 5 micrometers by using acrylic resin as binder. |
