PURPOSE:To increase the anti-vibration effect and the assembling efficiency of the titled fans and to reduce cost by a method wherein when the cross-flow fans are provided vertically within the body of the air conditioner and a bearing for supporting the upper end of the shaft of each of the fans is fixed to the ceiling plate of the air conditioner through a bushing. CONSTITUTION:The indoor side cross-flow fan 17 and the outdoor side cross- flow fan 18 are arranged vertically within the body 9 of the air conditioner which incorporates therein an indoor heat exchanger 14 and an outdoor heat exchanger 15 and the lower end of each of the fans 17 and 18 is connected to the rotary shaft of a motor. The shaft 29 on the upper end of the fan 17 is supported by the bushing 24 having a dustproof section 26. Further, the bushing 24 is fixed to the ceiling plate 21 having a hole 23 which coincides with the center axis of each of the fans 17 and 18 in such a manner that the bushing 24 engages a horizontal groove 25 formed along the outer periphery of the hole 23. In addition, the ring-shaped dustproof section 24 is integrally formed with the upper part of the bushing 24 and a vertical through hole 30 serving as a relief hole for the shaft 29 of each of the fans 17 and 18 is provided in the bushing. |
