PURPOSE:To prepare an immunoactivating substance stable to various solvents, and highly stable also to heat, by culturing bacteria belonging to Agromyces genus. CONSTITUTION:Bacteria belonging to Agromyces genus and capable of producing an immunoactivating substance, e.g. Agromyces ramosus ATCC25173, Agromyces okinawai Gp259 (FERM-P No.6085) or Agromyces okinawai Gp 458 (FERM-P No.6086) are inoculated in a nutrient medium, and cultured at 20-30 deg.C under aerobic conditions. The obtained bacterial cells or disintegrated fragment thereof are sterilized, washed with water, and freeze-dried to obtain an immunoactivating agent containing the immunoactivating substance as an active component. |
