PURPOSE:To elevate resolving power, and to record a picture with high resolution, by independently binary-coding an optical signal of each area of one picture element. CONSTITUTION:A charge signal transmission line for one picture element of a solid image pickup element 1 is divided into plural lines, an optical signal irradiated to one picture element is divided into plural signals, each of them is sent out as the solid image pickup element 1 of an independent optical signal, and that which is duplexed its sent-out optical signal each independently by a duplexing means 52 is outputted from an output terminal 14 of a register 14, therefore, as a result, a binary-coded signal is sent out continuously from the output terminal 14. In case of binary-coding a photographed picture image, resolving power for the photographed picture image can be elevated. |
