PURPOSE:To improve the steering stability, by securing a differential gear case to a torque tube independently of a sub-frame, and rubber-mounting the torque tube and the differential gear case respectively to the car body. CONSTITUTION:The differential gear case 5 is connected independently of the sub-frame 2 by means of flange connection to the torque tube 8 through which a driving shaft 6 is extended. The torque tube 8 is rubber-mounted to the car body 1 through a bracket 9 while the differential gear case 5 is rubber-mounted to the car body 1 through a bracket 10. Thus if rapid acceleration or the like is applied and a twisting force is generated in the differential gear case 5, the force will not be transferred via the sub-frame 2 to the semi-trailing arm. Therefore, the unsymmetrical vertical displacement can be prevented from occuring, and the steering stability can be improved. |
