CONSTITUTION:A device is composed so that a relay RL1 is excited by a comparator COM1 which generates an output when the voltage VD of an optical axis detector VR2, which is a variable resistor 13 and corresponds to the slant of the optical axis of a headlight 1 driven by a normally and inversely rotatable drive motor M, is smaller than the voltage VS of an optical axis setting unit VR1 corresponding to the rotation of a knob, etc. and another relay RL2 is excited by a comparator COM2 which generates an output when a voltage V'D smaller than the voltage VD through a resistor R2 is larger than the voltage VS. Common terminals C, C of the relays RL1, RL2 are connected to one terminal X and the other terminal Y of two drive motors ML, MR corresponding to the left and right headlights 1 respectively, and the resistor 13 is provided for only one of the motors ML, MR. By this arrangement, the optical axis of the headlight 1 can be optionally adjusted by properly varying the setting unit VR1.
