PURPOSE:To make it possible to heat by radiation one's feet in winter by utilizing the condensing temperature of a condenser at the time of heating operation by a method wherein the condenser is so designed that it is drawn out on the floor by turning round the condenser. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is incorporated with a compressor 2, the condenser 4, a decompressor 5 and an evaporator 3 and is provided with an air intake grill 8 and an air blowout grill 9 on one side surface thereof. The condenser 4 may be pivotally supported on the bottom surface 14 of the body 1 of the device by means of a hinge 15 so that when a handle 16 is pulled forward, it is held in the horizontal direction as shown in the chain line. With the above structure, when a heating operation is performed in winter and the condenser 4 is pulled out forwardly so as to hold it nearly horizontal, cold air is discharged outside the room through a bellows-like duct 21 attached to the blowout grill 9, whereby the radiant heat from the condenser 4 is spread to help heat one's feet or the like. |
