PURPOSE:To effectively sort and collect sheets with images fromed on both sides, by using trays for sorting and collecting sheets temporarily for intermediate trays to store the sheets during both side copying. CONSTITUTION:A paper feed cassette 3 for supplying sheets are arranged on one side of the main body 1 of a copying machine, and on the other side a paper discharge tray 4 for receiving sheets with images copied on both sides. Units 5, 6 of a sorter provided with plural trays for sorting and collecting sheets are arranged in the pedestal 2 for supporting the body 1, and a guide plate 7 for leading sheets discharegd from the machine to the units 5, 6 is also installed to sort and collect the sheets. The units 5, 6 are provided with trays 5a, 5b,...5n, and 6a, 6b...6n each movable to right and left in the pedestal 5. |
