PURPOSE:To enable an original to be exactly set, by using a copying machine having a vertical type structure, and providing an original holder freely openable and closable. CONSTITUTION:An original 24 is placed on the plate 25 of an original holder 25 by opening a transparent plate 5 like a fan supported pivotally on a supporting shaft 6 freely closably and openably with respect to the holder 3. A position of an original to be placed is indicated with an index formed on the holder 3 in accordance with each size of original 24. Since the original 24 is placed so as to direct letters and drawings upward, positoning of the original 24 to be copied can be executed easily and exactly by directly watching with eyes. |
