1297782 Aerosol cleaning compositions UNILEVER Ltd 10 March 1970 [13 March 1969] 13189/69 Headings C4X and C5D An aqueous cleaning composition in the form of an aerosol, comprises by weight (A) 1 to 10% caustic alkali, (B) 1 to 20% of an alkali-stable organic detergent, (C) 0À05 to 7% of a C 5 -C 18 aliphatic monohydric alcohol, (D) a propellant, the whole being packed in a pressurized container having a manually-operable dispensing valve. (A) is preferably NaOH. (B) may be anionic, e.g. alkyl sulphonates or alkyl sarcosinates; cationic, e.g. alkyl-substituted ammonium halides; non-ionic, e.g. propylene oxide and ethylene oxide condensates with alcohols, amines and amides; or amphotoric, e.g. sulphobetaines and taurines. (C) may be n-pentanol, n-heptanol, n-decanol, lauryl alcohol or myristyl alcohol, (D) may be butane, dichlorodifluoromethane or dichlorotetrafluoroethane. |
