<p>PURPOSE:To ensure high rates of desulfurization and denitration of boiler flue gas without raising temp. of the gas, with unreacted ammonia prevented from emission, by using a carbonaceous adsorbent used for removal of SOx for posttreatment of the gas. CONSTITUTION:Comparatively low temp. boiler flue gas (a) is freed of SOx in a desulfurization process 1 consisting of the moving bed of a carbonaceous adsorbent (c), and cleaned of NOx in a denitration process 2 consisting of the moving bed of the adsorbent (c) by injecting ammonia (b). The adsorbent (c) carrying sulfuric acid produced from the process 1 is sent to an ammonia removal process 3, and the gas (a) containing the unreacted ammonia flowing from the process 2 is sent to the process 3 to remove it with the adsorbent (c) contg. sulfuric acid. The adsorbent (c) discharged from the process 3 is fed to a regeneration process.</p> |
