PURPOSE:To ensure the highly effective use of the entire surface of a substrate in the form of an information recording part, by laminating a magnetic recording medium and a photomagnetic recording medium on the substrate. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 1 of a memory card 10 is made into a card form by using the synthetic resin, etc. A thin film magnetic recording medium 2 which is capable of changing the contents of the memory information is formed on the surface of the substrate 1. Then a photomagnetic recording medium 4 is formed on the medium 2 via a protecting film 3. A protecting film 5 is formed also on the medium 4. These media 2 and 4 plus films 3 and 5 are formed into a multilayer on the substrate 1 with the substrate 1 used as a target and by a vacuum vapor deposition process, a sputtering process, etc. |
