<p>The valve (10) consists of two half-bodies (11,12) bolted together and enclosing a cavity (18) which houses the double valve seats (40) and the gate (37). The two valve seats are formed from short tubes lightly spring-loaded (42) so that they bear on the valve gate. The gate has a flat plate (24) mounted for rotation in the housing around an axis (23) parallel to the axis of the passage.</p> |
