A carriage for displacing along a pair of guides 3 with circular cross section comprises two outer pairs 5 of guiding rollers and at least one central pair 6 of guiding rollers, which are sideways displaced relative to the outer pairs, and where at least one guiding roller is displaceable on its shaft 8 and spring-loaded. The outer pairs of guiding rollers are pressed against their guide by the central pair of guiding rollers, irrespective of possible flaws in the parallelism and/or surface quality.
