PURPOSE:To obtain the titled center mechanism that can be readily fabricated and is compact, by arranging a rotating and lifting member for lifting an upper ring for a resilient molded item, a rotation driving source for it and a lifting member for supporting said rotating and lifting member, and the center of a center mechanism in series. CONSTITUTION:As the member for rotating and lifting the upper ring 14 supporting the upper end of a resilient molded item 13, use is made of a screw shaft 6 and a nut 7 threaded therewith to be moved vertically. As a lifting member an air piston 19 is enclosed in an air cylinder 18. The screw shaft 6 is concentric with a lift cylinder 2 and the air piston 19, and the lower end of the screw shaft 6 is connected via a coupling 30 to a gear motor 29 with a brake acting as a forward and backward rotation driving source positioned in series with the air cylinder 18 using a closed bottom 24 of the air piston 19. By the forward or backward rotation of the screw shaft 6, the nut 7 is vertically moved, and a sliding bush 5 and a piston rod 44 follow it. |
