PURPOSE:To eliminate a ghost signal excellently, by varying a level of a cancellation signal in response to the level of a reception signal and synthesizing said cancellation signal with a video signal. CONSTITUTION:A high frequency signal from an antenna 1 is supplied to a video detection circuit 4 through a tuner 2 and a video IF3 and a video signal is obtained. A cancellation signal simulating a ghost component is formed from a cancellation signal circuit 40 at a cancellation signal circuit 40. The video signal and the cancellation signal are synthesized 5 and the level of the cancellation signal is made variable at a level varying circuit 42 in response to the level of the video signal. Further, the ghost can be eliminated by synthesizing 41 the video signal and the cancellation signal of the circuit 42. |
