<p>The heat pump has a compressor (1) with a double-tube condenser (2). One circuit (3) is connected to a heating circuit. The outlet of the condenser discharges a mixture of gas and liq. refrigerant onto an intermediate reservoir (4) from where the liq. is expanded (8) into the evaporator (6). The gas mixture in the reservoir (4) is further cooled by a heat exchanger (7) through which flows the return gas from the evaporator. The lower temp. obtained in the intermediate reservoir (4) causes a depression in the condenser tubes which lowers the liq. temp. and also helps prevent the tubes from choking.</p> |
