Adjustable axial-piston pump of swash-plate construction, in which pump the piston support face (swash plate) is formed on a semicylindrical rocker body whose cylindrical face is supported in the form of a plain bearing in a hollow-cylindrical bearing shell. For the purpose of hydrostatic relief of the bearing face, a pressure relief recess is arranged which communicates with a pressure-medium source. Said axial-piston pump has a connection which is always a delivery-line connection and a second connection which is always an intake-line connection. Said pressure relief recess (8) is arranged only on that side, relative to the rotational axis of the cylinder drum, of the rocker body (1) which supports the working pistons actuated by the delivery pressure. <IMAGE>
