PURPOSE:To facilitate transfer of a toner image to a transfer medium optionally located, by providing a conductive protrusion to a lower-end of a case, allowing this protrusion to touch a conductive transfer plate, and applying voltage between a photoreceptor and a case. CONSTITUTION:An electrophotographic receptor 2 capable of undergoing contact reflection exposure is held vertically movalby keeping its photosensitive layer down side. A conductive protrusion 17 is provided under the lower end of the case 1 of a portable electrophotographic copying machine comprising the receptor 2, a charger, a light source, a developing device, a light shading means, etc. When a toner image formed on the photoreceptor 2 is transferred to a transfer medium 28 placed on a conductive transfer plate 27, the machine is placed on the medium 28, and the receptor 2 is pressed down into contact with the medium 28. At that time, the protrusion 17 is brought into contact with the plate 27 electrically by that pressing force, and at the same time, or subsequently, voltage is applied between the receptor 2 and the case 1 from a battery 20 having voltage raising means 21 to execute transfer. |
