For the mounting of fence posts(7) on sloping sites, the ground anchor is installed normal to the gradient(1) whilst permitting the post to be set vertical, utilizing a rotatable cylindrical wedge(4) upon which a post spigot(6) is incorporated. Details may include for a flat bottomed cylindrical cup(10) which is mounted on a coaxial tubular leg(3) extending from an insitu concrete base(2). The cup is set flush in the ground with the leg normal to the ground, and contains the hollow wedge. The bottom(4") & top surfaces of the wedge are respectively normal & included to the cup walls, the top face providing a seat for a rotatable disc(5). The spigot receives the foot of a post(7) & includes an axial locking screw(9).
