The bag, which is suitable for storing small articles, such as coins and the like, has the shape of a triangle, the triangular closure flap being attachable to the bag by its tip and being held pivotably on the side opposite the tip. It can be made seamlessly from a parallelogram-shaped material blank, the side edges of the bag merely being folded and the closure flap being attachable by means of an attachment element, e.g. a snap fastener. This bag is inexpensive to manufacture but has a nice appearance.
