PURPOSE:To accurately judge an abnormal content of a storage device, by storing the presence/absence of logical discrepancy relating to the storage device storing information to be processed in a non-volatile storage device. CONSTITUTION:A storage device 1 to store character trains of an electronic typewriter is read out for various character trains from the storage device under the control of a central processing unit, print or to form a sentence. A D-input of a status storage device 2 consisting of non-volatile storage elements comprising D flip-flops is connected to an LSB of a data bus DB. A clock input C of the status storage device 2 is connected to an output of an AND gate G, while a Q output is connected to a tri-state buffer BF. |
