PURPOSE:To enhance accuracy of products and reduce manufacturing cost by a method wherein hardening resin is applied on the surface of a roughly machined scroll, which is molded in a mold fabricated accurately in dimensions. CONSTITUTION:hardening resin 12 which is a mixture of an exclusive hardening agent and resin is applied on material for the scroll 11 using a brush or the like in a specified thickness. The material for the scroll 11 is engaged with a master mold 13 on which parting agent is applied in a way to be free from distortion and then clamped togethr. After complete hardening of resin by leaving it for 24 hours at room temperature, the scroll is separated from the master mold 13 and flashes and hardened residual pieces of resin 12 on the surface are then cut off and removed. In this way, accuracy of the product can be improved and manufacturing cost can be reduced. |
