The invention relates to a body-side bearing support of a motor vehicle with a pivot pin running essentially horizontally and transversely to the vehicle longitudinal axis for the swivellable articulation of a wheel suspension member, especially of a longitudinal link or a coupling or connecting link on the body of the motor vehicle. It is characterised in that a bearing part carrying the pivot pin rigidly connected to it is fixed to a base part, rigidly fixable on the vehicle body, with the insertion of rubber-elastic elements, in such a way that the pivot pin is capable on the one hand of displacement in the vehicle longitudinal direction in the case of longitudinal forces acting on the wheel suspension member and on the other of swivelling about a defined vertical axis in the case of lateral forces acting on the wheel suspension member. <IMAGE>
