PURPOSE:To effectively dehydrate sludge, by respectively performing dehydration by gravity, head, wedge, and pressure in sequence for dehydrating sludge fed between an inside and an outside filtering cloth-belts. CONSTITUTION:A rotary drum 1 is rotated by driving a V-belt 12, and sludge is fed from a trough 31 onto an outside filtering cloth-belt 33, travelling on supporting rollers 32, to be dehydrated by gravity. Further, the sludge is swallowed between an inside filtering cloth-belt 34 on the peripheral surface of a drum 1 and the belt 33, and is dehydrated by head from both surfaces of the cloth-belt 34 and the outside cloth-belt 33 supported by rollers 36 of a supporting frame 35. A curved supporting frame 38 having rollers 37 is adjusted by a pressing screw 39 so that a gap between the rolls and the surface of the drum 1 is made narrower, with advancing the belts, and wedge-pressure dehydration is performed with the aid of the inside and outside filtering cloths 33 and 34. Successively, a pressure-dehydration is performed by a tension of a pressing belt 18 with advancing inside and outside filtering cloths 33 and 34 and the surface of the drum 1, and moreover a high pressure squeezing dehydration is performed by the pressing belt 18 with the aid of both surfaces of an intermediate pressing-roll 16 and a high pressure roll 17. |
