PURPOSE:To weld various kinds of metals with solder of one kind of component content with high strength by specifying the contents of the copper and aluminum of the low temp. solder for welding. CONSTITUTION:The low temp. solder for welding of iron, stainless steel, copper and aluminum is the solder consisting of 1-8% copper, 10% aluminum and the balance zinc. Various metals are welded by the solder of the same component, whereby welding strength which is so strong as can not be expected with tin and lead base solder is obtained. The strength and corrosion resistance of the solder in the welded positions is exactly equal to the same properties possessed by the solder prior to welding. |
