PURPOSE:To perform recording or reproduction in response to various modes accompanied with a recording medium and a recorder and reproducer, and a complete program search at each program, by providing a recording medium in addition to a conventional recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A conventional recording medium and another recording medium are provided in a cassette. For example, a magnetic sheet 2 is sticked to the side of a cassette 1, and a constant feeding mechanism which feeds at a constand rate the cassette 1 inserted near a cassette insertion slit 3 of a recorder and reproducer to a normal position, and a magnetic head 5 for recording reproducing, and erasing data on the magnetic sheet 2 are provided. Further, a CPU8 controls program search and recording, reproduction in response to various modes via a recording circuit 6, a reproduction circuit 7, a memroy 9, and a tape counter 11. |
