The working surface (6) of the grubber coulter (S1) is made gutter-shaped. The gutter shape can vary. Highly suitable is a concave working surface (6) with a gutter cross-section, the radius of curvature (r2) of which is constant over the entire width of the coulter (S1). As a result of the gutter shape, the earth scraped off from the coulter is carried upwards and thrown from the top onto straw to be worked into the earth. This results in the good intermixing of the straw with earth, a mixing effect also occurring over the width of the scraping track of the coulter. <IMAGE>
