[Also in Division B6] A laminate comprises a sheet of fibrous material impregnated with a thermosetting resin or with a thermosetting resin composition containing a minor amount of a natural resin or novolak, a coating of a thermosetting resin on one surface of the sheet and a polyolefin resin film affixed by an adhesive to the coated surface. Preferably the sheet is of cellulose fibres and is impregnated with and coated with phenolformaldehyde resin. The polyolefin film may be of polypropylene.</p> |
