PURPOSE:To enable to simultaneously reinforce even a peripheral part of a sand column part, by a method wherein a mixture of aggregates, cement, and a water-soluble soil modifier is charged into a pipe inserted into a ground to extrude it into earth and sand. CONSTITUTION:A casing pipe 2 erected on a ground, is vibrated by a vibrator 4 to insert the pipe into a ground to a given depth. A mixture, in which water is added to aggregates, such as sand, cement, and a water-soluble modifier comprising metal compound, is charged into the pipe 2 through a hopper 3. Compressed air is then fed into the pipe 2, and sand mixture is extruded downward as the pipe 2 is lifted. Finally, the pipe 2 is driven again to press the extruded sand mixture. This causes cement in the mixture to draw in earth and sand around the sand column for hardening. |
