A connection device (11) which is integrally formed on a hose coupling, a hose connection or the like has a ring of contact-pressure elements in the form of resilient cams (19) which are pressed, by means of a union unit (14), in the direction of a central connection stub (21). A flat hose (25), comprising a sealed inner hose (26) and a fabric outer hose (27) and collapsible in the pressureless state, is pushed onto the connection stub (21) and is seated in a groove (23) between two annular beads (22). Between the hose (25) and the contact-pressure elements (18) there is pushed a sleeve (28) which consists of a thick-walled, soft/resilient and rubber-like material. By means of its funnel-shaped portion (29) which projects beyond the connection stub (21) it forms a means for preventing the hose (25) from being bent off. <IMAGE>
