PURPOSE:To improve the productivity and quality, by embedding a magnetic head, a coil wire and terminals to a resin base in one body. CONSTITUTION:A resin material is poured from a gate 20 in a cavity 19 of a metallic mold 18 to form a resin base 21. To the cavity 19, a part of a head 22, a wire 24 connecting one end to this head 22 and connecting a terminal 23 to another end, and a part of the terminal 23 are stored at the molding of the base 21 and embedded at the molding of the base 21. A magnetic recording and reproducing head device formed in this way, has the resin-made base 21, the head base 22 a part of which is embedded in the resin base 21 and a part of which is projected from one side of the base 21, the wire 24 which is embedded in the resin head 21, one end of which is connected to the head 23 and another end of which is connected to the terminal 23, and the terminal 23 projected from one end surface of the base. |
